The EP-20BSLR(FQ)-2 at 31.75 mm pitch is the standard drive chain for longer escalator rises and heavier-duty installations in airport and metro applications. The EP-24ASLR(FQ)-2 and EP-24BSLR(FQ)-2 at 38.1 mm pitch cover high-rise installations in metro systems, while the EP-28ASLR(FQ)-2 at 44.45 mm pitch is specified for very long-rise high-capacity escalators where the chain tension at the bottom of the rise requires the larger pitch.
