La gamma di alesaggi finiti \u00e8 prodotta in due tipologie di mozzo: FBN (Tipo B)<\/strong> \u2014 un mozzo diritto con foro, sede per chiavetta e vite di fermo, fornito con la sede per chiavetta centrata sull'asse del dente (non tra i denti come in alcuni altri standard). La disposizione della sede per chiavetta sull'asse del dente consente di visualizzare la chiavetta dall'alto quando il pignone \u00e8 montato sull'albero, facilitando i controlli di allineamento. Posizione della chiavetta \u2014 Differenza standard asiatica<\/h2>\n

Le ruote dentate standard asiatiche hanno la sede della chiavetta ricavata sulla linea centrale del dente, allineata con il punto medio del dente e non tra i denti. Questa convenzione \u00e8 diversa da quella delle ruote dentate europee DIN 8187 e americane ANSI B29.1, dove la sede della chiavetta \u00e8 tipicamente posizionata tra i denti. La differenza \u00e8 importante per due motivi:<\/p>\n

\u2714 Conferma visiva dell'installazione<\/p>\n

Con la sede della chiavetta allineata all'asse del dente, il tecnico pu\u00f2 verificare il corretto posizionamento di installazione osservando la parte superiore della ruota dentata installata: il dente direttamente sopra la chiavetta deve essere centrato sul segno della sede della chiavetta sull'albero. Questo controllo visivo \u00e8 particolarmente utile durante l'installazione di ruote dentate di grandi dimensioni, dove la misurazione della posizione della ruota dentata risulta difficoltosa.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u26a0\ufe0f Non sostituire il pignone europeo\/ANSI<\/p>\n

Un pignone europeo o ANSI non pu\u00f2 essere sostituito con un pignone standard asiatico su una catena asiatica, anche se il passo e il foro sono gli stessi. Il profilo del dente (raggio della curva di appoggio, larghezza del dente e angolo del dente) differisce tra i vari standard. L'utilizzo di una catena e di un pignone non compatibili causa un innesto inadeguato dei rulli, un'usura accelerata e la rottura prematura del pignone entro poche settimane dall'installazione.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\ud83d\udcd0 Standard JIS B1301 per scanalature<\/p>\n

Le dimensioni della sede della chiavetta sono conformi alla norma JIS B1301 (rivista nel 1976), lo standard giapponese per chiavette e sedi di chiavetta parallele in fori metrici. Questa norma \u00e8 dimensionalmente simile alla DIN 6885, ma utilizza proporzioni di profondit\u00e0 leggermente diverse per fori di piccole dimensioni (inferiori a 22 mm). Profilo del dente JIS B1801<\/h3>\n

Il profilo del dente \u00e8 conforme a JIS B1801, necessario per il corretto innesto con la catena a rulli standard asiatica. Il raggio della curva di appoggio e la larghezza del dente differiscono da DIN 8187 e ANSI B29.1 perch\u00e9 il diametro del rullo standard asiatico \u00e8 leggermente diverso da entrambi. L'utilizzo di catene asiatiche su pignoni europei o americani (o viceversa) causa un errato appoggio del rullo e un'usura prematura anche quando il passo \u00e8 identico. Abbinare con Catena a rulli standard asiatica JIS B1801<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

C45 con denti temprati \u2014 35B e superiori<\/h3>\n

Tutte le ruote dentate FBN e FBK nelle misure da 35B a 120B sono realizzate in acciaio al carbonio C45 con fianchi dei denti temprati a induzione a 52-58 HRC. Il foro viene lavorato prima del ciclo di trattamento termico e le dimensioni vengono confermate dopo la tempra. Le ruote dentate 25B sono pi\u00f9 leggere: realizzate in acciaio C45 liscio senza tempra dei denti, adatte ai carichi leggeri delle applicazioni di trasmissione 25B. Le varianti in acciaio inossidabile SUS304 (prefisso SUSFBP) hanno solo il foro liscio e non sono temprate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Flangia tipo FBK - Ritenzione laterale<\/h3>\n

Il tipo FBK aggiunge una flangia al mozzo, fornendo una superficie di appoggio contro la spalla o il collare dell'albero. Ci\u00f2 \u00e8 necessario nelle applicazioni in cui la ruota dentata deve essere trattenuta assialmente sull'albero dalla propria geometria anzich\u00e9 affidarsi esclusivamente alla vite di fermo. Il tipo FBK \u00e8 lo standard per le trasmissioni a catena nelle macchine agricole e nelle attrezzature per la movimentazione dei materiali giapponesi, dove la posizione della ruota dentata \u00e8 determinata da un gradino sull'albero anzich\u00e9 dalla sola vite di fermo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The finished bore range is produced in two hub types: FBN (Type B)<\/strong> \u2014 a straight hub with a bore, keyway and setscrew, supplied with the keyway centred on the tooth centreline (not between teeth as in some other standards). The keyway-on-tooth-centre arrangement allows the key to be visible from above when the sprocket is mounted on the shaft, making alignment checks easier. Keyway Location \u2014 Asian Standard Difference<\/h2>\r\n

Asian standard sprockets have the keyway machined on the tooth centreline \u2014 aligned with the midpoint of a tooth, not between teeth. This is a different convention from European DIN 8187 and American ANSI B29.1 sprockets, where the keyway is typically positioned between teeth. The difference matters for two reasons:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\u2714 Visual Installation Confirmation<\/p>\r\n

With the keyway on the tooth centreline, the engineer can confirm correct installation position by looking at the top of the installed sprocket \u2014 the tooth directly above the key should be centred over the keyway mark on the shaft. This visual check is particularly useful during installation of large sprockets where gauging the sprocket position is difficult.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n

\u26a0\ufe0f Do Not Substitute European\/ANSI Sprocket<\/p>\r\n

A European or ANSI sprocket cannot be substituted for an Asian standard sprocket on Asian chain, even if the pitch and bore are the same. The tooth profile \u2014 seating curve radius, tooth width and tooth angle \u2014 differs between standards. Running mismatched chain and sprocket causes poor roller engagement, accelerated wear and premature sprocket failure within weeks of installation.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n

\ud83d\udcd0 JIS B1301 Keyway Standard<\/p>\r\n

Keyway dimensions conform to JIS B1301 (revised 1976) \u2014 the Japanese standard for parallel keys and keyways in metric bore sizes. This is dimensionally close to DIN 6885 but uses slightly different depth proportions for small bore sizes (below 22 mm). Always use a JIS B1301 or DIN 6885 key in Asian standard sprockets \u2014 do not use ASME B17.1 inch keys, which have different width-to-depth ratios.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n

JIS B1801 Tooth Profile<\/h3>\r\n

The tooth profile conforms to JIS B1801 \u2014 required for correct engagement with Asian standard roller chain. The seating curve radius and tooth width differ from DIN 8187 and ANSI B29.1 because the Asian standard roller diameter is slightly different from both. Running Asian chain on European or American sprockets (or vice versa) causes incorrect roller seating and premature wear even where the pitch is identical. Pair with JIS B1801 Asian standard roller chain<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n

C45 with Hardened Teeth \u2014 35B and Above<\/h3>\r\n

All FBN and FBK sprockets in 35B through 120B are C45 carbon steel with induction-hardened tooth flanks at 52\u201358 HRC. The bore is machined before the heat treatment cycle and confirmed dimensionally after hardening. 25B sprockets are lighter duty \u2014 plain C45 without tooth hardening, suitable for the light loads in 25B drive applications. SUS304 stainless variants (SUSFBP prefix) are plain bore only and are unhardened by material.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n

FBK Flange Type \u2014 Lateral Retention<\/h3>\r\n

The FBK type adds a flange face to the hub, providing a bearing face against a shaft shoulder or collar. This is required in applications where the sprocket must be retained axially on the shaft by its own geometry rather than relying entirely on the setscrew. FBK is the standard type for chain drives in Japanese agricultural machinery and material handling equipment where the sprocket position is located by a shaft step rather than by a setscrew alone.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n
